UMUNACHI AND SPORTS
The Umunachi community in Osuh-ama Isiala Mbano, Imo State, Nigeria, is noted for its continued involvement, commitment and progress in sporting events. The famous Aquinas Secondary School Osuh, Mbano (Aquisco), known for its state and national achievements in both academic and Sports (particularly soccer) events, is actually the community's baby and also located within the community. In line with its commitment to soccer, the community holds an annual (Christmas holiday) soccer competition event, which usually brings the community together to share the talents of the Umunachi indigenes.
